Matt Lucas is lined up to play the Wind in the Willow's classic character Mr Toad in a new adaptation by the BBC of Wind in the Willows.
According to The Daily Mirror, the 32-year-old will appear in the BBC film of the book, which follows the adventures of Mole, Water Rat, Badger and Toad.
Billy Elliot scriptwriter Lee Hall is working on the script of Kenneth Grahame’s classic kids story. The full cast is yet to be revealed however a source commented: "Matt is over the moon. He's a big fan of the story."
