Little Britain Stars Dream Up Doherty Spoof
Pete Doherty will go from perennial no-show to satirical TV show if the stars of Little Britain have their way.
Matt Lucas and David Walliams want to spoof Doherty and girlfriend Kate Moss, possibly as part of a revival of Rock Profiles, the show the pair worked on prior to Little Britain.
Walliams said: 'I think I'd be him (Doherty) and Matt would be Kate Moss because they're very similar actually, and have similar dress sizes.'
Speaking to The Star, Lucas added: 'Yeah, it'd be amazing, as I'm famously svelte.'

The cultural omnipotence of Little Britain's Vicky Pollard seemingly knows no bounds. The chav icon whose 'yeah, but no, but' catchphrase has swept the nation has been photographed by Mario Testino for fashion bible Vogue.
Pollard has been shot with supermodel Erin O'Connor, who ditched her usually glamorous threads for some suitably down at heels sports gear, in a grimy west London community centre. The shoot is part of a 13-page Testino spread dedicated to the award-winning BBC comedy. Pics can be seen Click Here!
Alexander Shulman, Vogue's editor, praised the shoot. "The notion of pairing the glamour of Mario's photographs with the harsh comedy of Little Britain was irresistible. Right from the start I was sure we needed to have a model in the pictures to contrast the Little Britain characters and the traditional Vogue world. Erin O'Connor, who's a great actress, was perfect."

Rich & Judy's Little Britain
Richard and Judy are the latest in a long line of stars who have jumped at the chance to appear in Little Britain. The couple will have cameo roles in one episode of the forthcoming third series.
They are big fans of the hit comedy and even did a spoof sketch on their Channel 4 afternoon show last Christmas.
A spokesman for Richard, 49, and Judy, 57, confirmed: "They've been asked to go on Little Britain and have agreed.
"They're really excited."
Robbie Williams, Sir Elton John and George Michael all appeared in a Comic Relief special of the Bafta award-winning comedy.
It is not known what role Richard and Judy will have but an insider told The Sun: "It's actually more likely they'll interview Vicky Pollard about having ten babies at the age of 15!"
Richard has already shown he is game for a laugh - he once memorably dressed up as Ali G on This Morning.

Colin Baker - the sixth actor to play Doctor Who - will be making a cameo appearance in Little Britain. "I enjoy doing comedy after drama," Baker told The Mirror. "It's a bit like a diet. You need variety." The actor has also praised the current series of Doctor Who, starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. Baker said, "I think it's fabulous. The scripts are excellent, and the production values are very good."
