One year of intense training and a 10.5-hour swim across the channel later, Little Britain star, David Walliams was rewarded for his epic Speedo Sport Relief Superswim by the magnificent £1 million that was raised for his extraordinary achievement! £250 000 of which has been donated by a mystery donor, who it's rumoured to be George Michael but these may just be Careless Whispers.
A very surprised David said, "To raise a million is way beyond what I thought was possible - it's brilliant!"
He added, "Without the support of the public there would have been no point in doing it - but people have been fantastic and I'd really like to thank them."
